Burgers!!!!!
Ingredients
Directions
Burgers!!!!!
Make your patties half of the thickness that you normally would and place a spoonful of an even mixture of Monterrey jack and pepper jack and cream cheese! So good!! Top with your favorite burger toppings....With these I like sauteed mushrooms, onions, and a slice of avocado!!
Fondant
I have people ask me all the time if I know how to make or if I have a recipe for fondant....well no I don't make it myself but for those of you determined recipe followers here is a recipe:Fondant Recipe
This is one of my favorite things to make from fondant...gumpaste would be a little sturdier but the fondant with a stiffening agent works fine too.

Easy-to-make Caramel Sauce
*While this recipe is really easy it is has a part that you have to be quick. It's best to have all of your ingredients pre-measured and ready to go. You can store the sauce in an airtight container for 4 days.
2 cups of sugar
1/4 tsp cream of tarter
3/4 cup heavy cream
In a medium heavy saucepan, combine the sugar and cream of tarter with 1/2 cup water. Cook over high heat without stirring (stirring will cause the sugar to crystallize and ruin the sauce so no matter how much you want to stir just don't) until the sugar turns golden amber. Now here is the tricky part....slowly pour the heavy cream down the side of the pan while whisking like crazy (the sauce is going to go crazy bubbling hot so be careful) Remove from heat. It's now ready to use but remember that it's really hot.

Bacon wrapped Asparagus
*The best time to buy asparagus is March to June
1 bunch of fresh asparagus
1/2 cup of extra virgin olive oil
pinch salt
pinch pepper
equal slices of bacon to asparagus (if you prefer not to add the calories and fat of bacon or do not eat pork you can use turkey bacon...cooking times will vary,,,,,and hey you are eating asparagus so the bacon is the reward!!)
Wash the asparagus and dry it off (TIP: the tips should be tight ...that shows freshness)
take one stem and bend it until it naturally breaks....that is where you cut the ends off
place stems on a large bowl and toss in olive oil and salt and pepper
wrap each stem with a piece of bacon...spread out the bacon so it's not too thick
broil under a low broil for and 15 minutes...(or at least that's in my oven) watch it and pull it out when the bacon is cooked the way you like it.
I like to squeeze lemon over the top!!

Asparagus is high in glutathione, an important anticarcinogen.
It also contains rutin, which protects small blood vessels from rupturing and may protect against radiation.
Asparagus is a good source of vitamins A, C and E, B-complex vitamins, potassium and zinc.
Asparagus has been used to treat problems involving inflammation, such as arthritis and rheumatism, and may also be useful for PMS-related water retention.
Asparagus is a great choice to add to the diet during pregnancy because asparagus is a good source of folic acid.
